My name is Hannah, and I am currently a graduate student in the Public Humanities program at Brown University.

As a public historian and informal educator, I am passionate about approaching history in a way that challenges traditional narratives. Being from Charleston, South Carolina, I am committed to public work that dismantles racist interpretations of history and creates space for previously excluded voices and stories. I’m interested in the intersections of history, memory, and historic preservation, and how these intersections shape the collective understanding of American history.
